By sending your job application to us you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following. If you do not agree with the statement below, then you will not be able to go any further with your application.

Jefferies International Limited and its affiliates, including Jefferies LLC ("Jefferies"), may use information about you supplied in your job application or which is subsequently supplied to us for the purposes of recruitment and, if your application is successful, for employment purposes such as pre-employment checks and employment contracts. We may keep your information for up to 12 months even if you do not take up employment with Jefferies. This is so that we can determine your suitability for other vacancies and/or for statistical purposes such as evaluation of our recruitment processes.

Your information will be controlled and processed by Jefferies.

Your information may also be processed on our behalf by Jefferies LLC, which is Jefferies' parent company, and as such may be involved in the recruitment process. For your information, Jefferies LLC is headquartered in the US. We will not disclose personal information about you to any other third party unless required to do so by law or regulators.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • any personal data that you submit as part of the application process may be provided to any member of the Jefferies group whether based within or based outside the European Economic Area, including, in particular, Jefferies LLC and Jefferies Singapore Limited. You understand that in some locations, the Information you submit may not be subject to the same legal protection as is mandated in your home country and that the laws regarding privacy, data protection, and confidentiality of personal information may not be accorded the same protection as in your home country. Jefferies will ensure that any such data which is so transferred shall continue to be handled in accordance with good practice and in accordance with any relevant law and/or regulations. We will not disclose any information held by us about you (which you have submitted with this form) to any other third party unless required to do so by law or regulators.

Although Jefferies takes reasonable steps to ensure the security of information in its possession, you acknowledge that the internet is an open network and a transmission of data over the internet is not controlled by Jefferies. We have implemented technologies and security processes to protect the stored personal information from unauthorized access, improper use, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss. You acknowledge that information given by you is supplied on a voluntary basis. You can update or correct your details online by logging in to the system using your unique user name and password. If you wish to request details about the information that Jefferies holds on you, please send a written request to The Human Resources Department, Jefferies International Limited, Vintners' Place, Upper Thames Street, London EC4A 3BJ. You may also request that Jefferies deletes all personal information about you from its records by writing to this address. We may require you to provide proof of your identity before providing you with any information, and may refuse to do so if you do not provide sufficient proof of identity.
